M/s KIAL airport trial landing inauguration has been done by the Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala today. The Airport premises was filled with milling crowd since morning to witness the event. We have displayed banners in the main entrance and also in the vantage areas apart from the banners on fuellers.
The history of Aviation was re-written when Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri. Oommen Chandy pressed the Dead Man Control and fuelled the first Test flight landed at Kannur International Airport on 29th Feb 2016 in the presence of Shri.Prasad Panicker ED, BPCL-KR and Shri. P.M.Kamath CEO-BKFFPL & AM (BPCL, South) with other dignitaries from BPCL.
The test flight which belongs to Air Force Code B aircraft and two other aircrafts in which Chief Minister of Kerala and other ministers/directors landed at Kannur were refuelled.
